Booking Through 2022: February BOTM

February was a productive month for me when it came to reading. I challenged myself to read as many romance books as I possibly could (my life schedule permitting) before Valentine's Day, which resulted in me spending my weekends doing pretty much nothing but getting lost in a book.

I read and reviewed 22 books in February and shared 20 of them across my platforms. The two I didn't share had really low ratings from me or had an extremely short review. Out of those 22 books, I gave ll of them 5 heart ratings. The majority of the remaining books received 4 hearts from me.

The books I gave 5 hearts to were:

Teacher's Pet, by Pixie Chica (romance)

Heartstopper #4, by Alice Oseman (Romance graphic novel)

Sweet with Heat, by Addison Cole (Romance)

A Royal Payne, by Pixie Chica (Romance)

A Shot with Prince Charming, by Maggie Dallen (Romance)

My Highschool Valentine Boyfriend, by Kylie Key (Romance)

Raising Hell, by S.K. Gregory (Urban Fantasy)

A Chance in Hell, by S.K. Gregory (Urban Fantasy)

Postcards from Bliss, by S.E. Winters (Realistic)

A Hell of a Way to Die, by S.K. Gregory (Urban Fantasy)

Circle of Time, by Riverr Ravenswood (Urban Fantasy)

I choose Circle of Time by Riverr Ravenswood as February's book of the month. I knew halfway through the book that it was my BOTM. Ravenswood majorly impressed me with her storytelling skills, writing ability, and her knowledge of the urban fantasy genre.

According to Goodread's tracker, I am on course to meet my goal of 200 books read this year. However, I'm starting to realize how daunting this goal truly is. I'm sitting at 35 books read and sometimes it's hard to keep them all apart in my head. I've started binging series in order to keep things straight. I binged a bunch of Pixie Chica's books and read the first three books in S.K. Gregory's Gods of Chaos series back-to-back so I could keep them organized in my head.

My plan for March is to read a couple of books that I've been wanting to read for a while. Four of them are graphic novels so, theoretically, they won't take too long to read. Another is a novel about a girl whose father is a serial killer and kidnaps her boyfriend.
