The Unbreakable Bond: September Book of the Month

It's almost the end of October and I'm just now announcing who my pick was for September. If you're new here, allow me to explain. I'm using a bracket system to find out which book I read in 2021 is my favorite. Each month I record all the 5 heart books I've read and select my favorite to be that month's book of the month. In September I seven 5 heart reviews and each of the books was so good that it was hard to pick one.

I read 11 books total in September. Most were ebooks.

Choosing a book of the month for September was so hard that I had to wait until now to announce it, however, I'm pleased to say that the lovely Margaret Malory is this month's author!
Mallory is the author of Blood Bound, which wins as September's book of the month. It's a fantasy adventure involving soul bonds and the strength of love.
    My Review:
Blood Bound is a fast-paced, action-adventure, fantasy romance full of love and war. The two main characters are soulmates, bound by blood to find each other in every life they have. Fate is unkind to them, though, as even when they are reborn they are repeatedly betrayed by those they thought they could trust.
This is book one in its series, and I need to read the next one. It’s amazing. A truly remarkable fantasy romance. The romance scenes are steamy, mature, and very well written. It isn’t cliche and each character has their own distinctive personality.

Some stories are meant to be told and some people are meant to find each other across lifetimes. Kerrienne is blessed by the Gods. Her powers rival to none.
A war is brewing and in this fight against a powerful enemy, an alliance with the laird of the MacCleods, rumored to be demon touched, is her only chance.
Emrick hasn't felt human since his transformation into whatever the hell he was. yet Kerrienne can soothe the wild beast inside him with just a touch.
This isn't just a love story. This story transcends time. And when they find each other again, the survival of their world will depend on their love.
Little do they know, they're not just soulmates. Their souls have been branded by the essence of their past lives. Destined to find each other in every single one of their reincarnations.
As Kerrienne and Emrick fight for the survival of their people, will they survive to find their happily ever after? or will they need more than one lifetime?
