The Alphabet Ancestry (Part II)

         I did not plan to update this series as quickly as I am, but a lot has happened since we last talked in the Sims 4 challenge I'm doing. We've made it to Generation G and there is some sketchy stuff going on. The next time I update I think I'll include some of the settings I'm using for this challenge, in case any of you want to give it a go. If you try it out, let me know! I'd love to follow your Sims' story too. Generation F, Log 22 (CORONA):     Flora returns to the farm as a ghost, along with several other dead ancestors. The ghosts attend a dinner party that Francis and Jade are hosting. Death is there too, he hangs out in the pomegranate tree grove.  Generation F, Log 23 (CORONA):      Francis sets his sight on growing a cow plant. Since cow plants are dangerous and can eat people he builds a special greenhouse to hold the plant. He plants several dead flowers in the greenhouse too. He also updates all windows, doors, ...

The Alphabet Ancestry (Part I)

      I don't know how into video games you are, but there are four games I play with a dedication so strong that I've literally lost nights of sleep over them. One of these games is Sims. I played Sims 3 long ago, but I'm currently playing Sims 4, and if you're a Sim's player then you know that EA just keeps adding more expansions to this game.      I've played the game so much that I've beaten many of the challenges, yet there was one I have failed to complete several times. The Alphabet Family Challenge. The rules for this challenge are as follows:      1) You must play through 26 generations of the same household.     That's it. That's all the guidelines Sims gives players. Seems simple enough, right? WRONG! Sims is a time-consuming game. Getting to 26 generations takes a long time...and I may have neglected to consider what 'same household' might have meant until I was already a decent way into the challenge.    ...
